Kurdish Kilim

This Kurdish Kilim Rug is a one-of-a-kind vintage rug from northern Khorasan, dating back to the 1950s. The rug was handwoven with naturally dyed wool in a multi-color palette. The colors have gracefully faded over time. The kilim design showcases repeated geometric motifs in thirteen lines on the field, with the border featuring a detailed geometric pattern. This kilim was made with a horizontal loom due to the migratory lifestyle of the nomads. It is tightly woven, making it an excellent choice for high-traffic areas. Due to its vintage nature, some areas show signs of use. All vintage and antique rugs have been professionally cleaned.
